After lurking in the shadows I just went over to Guitar Center, sold a kidney and a lung, and took the profits to order a new Bongo 5HHP (Radiance Red with Black Pearl). I'll drop picts on when it comes (if the waiting or my wife doesn't kill me first).

Just wanted to thank you all for your input. It was very instrumental in my decission.

It is great to be here and great to be a future Bongo-er!

w00t! Another Bongo Boy! Yeah! Radiance Red is an excellent choice - Contemplated RR and the Carbon Blue Pearl, but the Candy Red won out! Welcome to Bongodom! And welcome to the forum!:D

Welcome to the Bongo Club! I've also got a 5 string Bongo on order (my second:cool: ).

I can't wait to see the RR finish with the Bongo! I just saw a Stingray 5 that was awesome. With a Black Pearl pickguard and the matching neck/headstock, I expect your bass will be drop dead gorgeous. Now you just have to wait 2-3 months like me...;)
