I just wanted to take a second to introduce myself. I'm Jeff & I purchased my first MM last summer on ebay. It's a (99?) Sterling, pearl blue w/ maple neck, matching headstock, & black pickguard. I am absolutely 100% in love & I'm never looking back! Unfortunately, I seem to have a terrible case of g.a.s. & I'm hoping to add a Sting Ray 5 sometime in the near future. Too bad I'm a poor college kid! I have been wondering about my serial #'s and stuff for months, but I just saw the sticky on the forums. VERY helpful site! I'm gonna look into it sometime when it's not almost 3 am here. I'm sure I'll be seeing you guys around in the days ahead.
