Well, Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, I found an amp that loves my Axis!! I put a guyatone flip echo in the loop, put a Vox C/McCoy between the gtr and amp, put the gain on 6, and Holy Crap.. This guitar sounded nice with my marshall 1959 slp. but it eats this Orange 212 / 50w combo up. Instant Led Zep one tone on the neck, EJ on the bridge, and everything else in between. Plus, I don't need so many effects like with the plexi. If you get a chance, try one of these overpriced bastards. I had buyers remorse for about a week, and then this guitar sold me on it. No regrets.
 
I've played through one off those overpriced bastards :D ....they sound pretty good, you can go from clean to scream, much like my zinky....good score!! :D
