Question New pickguards for my guitars

Hi guys,

thinking about to replace current pickguards on my guitars.

On my Morse I would like something similar to actual Steve Morse guitar with which he replace No.1.
Just to give my guitar more life instead of black pickguard.

And on my Albert Lee I would like to try HH config, so would like to replace current SSS pickguard with HH version.

Could you give me any tips where to look for?
Or any helpful experience?

I'm from Europe.

Regarding going H-H on the Albert Lee: you will have to route out some wood to make that happen.
My tech did it to my Albert Lee S-S-S and it went smoothly.

So you meant that it is necessary to machine out some wood to fit humbucker in it?

In that case I will not do it. I love this guitar so much, don't want to hurt her.

Followed Tollie's link, and pattern 3974 is the standard Morse.

Sent them a pic of the pickguard and they said they can get it for a $5 upcharge on their highest price - so cost would be $82 plus shipping.

Yes, it will be necessary to carve out some wood to make space for the bigger pickups, however you shouldn't worry about hurting your guitar because of that. The Steve Morse sounds great despite the fact that they must have removed a good chunk of wood to make space for the pickups.

Dude that clear pickguard is sick! Very nice to see the whole top. That's my biggest criticism about Strats. Not that they have tops as awesome as EBMM, but why go through all the trouble of finishing a nice piece of wood if you are going to cover it with a huge sheet of plastic? The only guards I like are EBMMs. Not too big (Strats), not too small (LP/SG), just perfect!
