New Slinkys

I´ve been to an EBMM and others main dealer this week purchasing some TCelectronic pedals i also picked up a new set of slinkys for my Stingray and in my best Spanish i asked for the ones fitted standard at the MusicMan factory in the US whereupon he put them in the bag with the other items after arriving home 50 kms away i looked at the strings to find i had the Hybrid set with a 105 E string, I will not break the bag open until i am satisfied that i will not have to do a full setup and horror of horrors file away the nut slot !! They fit as normal.

I use 45 64 85 105 strings on my SR4 with no issues at all. I always find that I like having the slightly thicker bass strings on a 4 banger. On a five stringer I use the standard strings.

You MAY have to adjust your truss rod a little.
