OK, the Sterling is here and it Rules!
My first impression with this Sterling was that it was the easiest playing bass I had ever owned.....after a few days it still is.Man this neck is sweet.......almost effortless. The first thing that I noticed upon plugging in is that it was way too hot for the front end of my 1001RBII.I have no choice but to use the input pad which is really no problem cause it's still super loud.I was really expecting it to sound just like my SR5 and while it is similar I find it a little more agressive sounding than the SR5.It sounds great and will most likely be my main bass for quite some time. When the seller listed it as mint he wasn't kidding, the body doesn't have one scratch on it and still has the plastic on the control plate. An interesting sidenote is that the guy I got this bass from is actually the one who sniped out the White Sparkle Sterling from me with a Cirrus:rolleyes: , The neck on this bass is actually the one from that White Sparkle Sterling.....so Travis I have the neck from your old bass! The body and neck are both 2002 though.I guess this one originally had a maple board but I like this one better so it's cool.I've been trying to get good pics for a couple days but it's been raining so much these are the best I could get.....Sorry:(

Wowee Wow Wow Wow,

That's one hell of a bass. I now know what to order. Way to go!!!

I do wonder, however, what does rainfall have to do with photography?;) You must be from California

Very cool bass, Randracula. What's more, based on your write up, I see a Sterling in my future.

That Sterling is captivating even in those low-light conditions, there's no doubt that it looks even better in person. Congrats Randy, that's an Awesome bass. :)

should I worry about that?

YES! ... but, in a sincere, good, loving your basses way.:D

Since you crowned me “King of Lefthanzia” I feel I must speak on behalf of my left hand subjects and request the deliverance of the new Two Pickup models in the left hand orientation, for our small but very dedicated group of EBMM aficionados.

I will gladly order the first of such instruments, and brag and gloat until righties buy a few lefties to shut me up.

Big Poppa you know you are the only authority on this planet I recognize, shall your will be done?

Your humble servant,

Psycho
