Piezo module features MusicMan branding & more visible labeling for mono/stereo

Saddles are now notched before/after the peizo are for better pressure on the element
(I was restringing this one when I noticed, which is why some strings aren't centered)

Control cavity cover designed to allow quick and easy adjustments for the pickup boost level and various piezo controls.

T-Bone, Petrucci just did a photo shoot with Larry DiMarzio a few weeks back featuring the JP13 and the pickups have been given the name "The Illuminator" to match with the track "Illumination Theory" on the new album. I am guessing that they will be available from DiMarzio very soon. Tosin Abasi is featured this month on the DiMarzio site, so next month might be Petrucci's time. I'm planning on picking up a set for my SUB when they become available.

Nope, I don't own a JP13 and the rosewood necked JP6 with graphics is still #1! I would love to incorporate the JP13 preamp on that guitar if it were possible (no piezo, not gonna happen)

I read in an interview on ug that the new pickup was called the "eliminator":

Was the new JP13 Music Man Signature guitar an important piece in that process?

Definitely. The nature of the new guitar - the 13 with the preamp in it and the new DiMarzio Eliminator pickups - has a broader and more open sound. It has more highs and overtones to it. It's just richer and more forward. I was able to dial that in from the beginning and choose the correct Boogie that would be appropriate for whatever section of the song.

I noticed that too, pick, but they made the same mistake when referencing the song titled "Illumination Theory" that is the final track/"epic" of the album.

I just posted my JP13 NGD and it was one of the first things I noticed when I was eyeing it down at the store. Only a complete gear nerd would notice....and appreciate.......I noticed and appreciated.....lol
