Hey guys! As a person that talks guitars everyday with all kinds of folks I tried to think up a way to encourage my guitar clients to try new guitars that they may have thought wouldn't have been ideal for them or their needs. So, I released our 'teaser' video last week and asked folks to weigh in on what guitar they think they were listening to. Maybe, just maybe, I'd surprise some people to what guitar was being played.
I wanted to sample music pieces that were in contrast to one another to hear the guitar across a range of styles but without any funny business. My Luke BFR was running directly into the front of my Marshall JVM410 and mic'd the 1960a cab. No compression, post eq, or anything of the sort was employed; all in an effort to keep the tones as honest as possible.
I really hope you guys enjoy the vid and support the idea of the concept. I'll try to get another vid out next month. Please, if you any suggestions for songs or guitars you'd like to hear message me hear and I'll see what I can do!
Cheers,
benji
