At the suggestion of another senior member I am posting this plea

Can ANYONE in NY-NJ-(Ct)? Help me

A drunk tech ripped out my old bridge without regard for my PieZo which he didn’t know was there when he put new Bridge in

I can’t afford hundreds in repair but I’d p really appreciate and will return the favor somehow for the help. It’s no physical damage, it’s sloppy shoddy wiring by an admitted alcoholic

Or the poster can hope someone closer sees this and can provide a repair tech that might be faster and less expensive.

I deleted LenaEBMMfan's post. You're in someone else's house here- let's cool it please.

You have been given good advice on sending it back to EBMM- they're the experts. And Pete is as good a dealer as they get. But hopefully someone can recommend a tech that's closer and you can get sorted out.

Keith (Sweat) ... that wasn't really warranted. If you find a topic annoying, you can just ignore it rather than adding to the flames, k?

And with that ... let's move on. If this sort of thing continues, I'm just going to start shutting things down.

Really, lighten up? nothing wrong with suggesting that instead of continuing to be upset do something about it. Not meant to be meant to be mean at all. So lighten up.

Beej, see my response to kbaim, was not trying to be mean but suggesting to move forward and get it taken care of. Seems that my post was read/ taken wrong. Time to get back to NGD etc.

But seriously, I did lose the info/tips in the latter part of the thread ?...Paul something from CT?if u don’t mind repeating his info or site?please

And also quick update, the luthier tech guy called me to apologize and offer $100 towards repair ONCE the problem is determined , so that’s at least some good news
 
And for the record, Sweats suggestion of DuBaldo is a really good option should something closer and possibly more convenient not materialize.

Pete has a 12+ year record of being the dealer of choice for many of us who have bought multiple EBMM guitars (me included) in addition to being an all around good guy and really good player (though i've never used him for repairs and didn't realize its another area of his)

But as to the kind of guy he is, top notch and one of my favorites to hang out with when circumstances permit (NAMM shows, concerts, dinner etc)
 
Then he’s the guy I’ll go to for sure if no one closer comes to my rescue!

MEANWHILE, the guy said get a store letter headed invoice for scope of work and he’ll pay up to $100 towards repairing ...so at least I can worry less if mr Pete charges too much for me

Also, for what it’s worth, the M7 is worth the money and install IF super high output and metal are yiur thing, so I’m glad it’s in
 
Thx dude, I know Evan, he did all my boyfriends work till he thinned out his clintele...his prices and service were great.
He woukd have been my go to guy before I ran into this issue.... he couldn’t do the routing( there was a little that needs to be done at the pickup ring ,he has a lung problem and allergy to the dust) so it’s only setups and electronics now , but his prices also did go up.....not a bad dude
