I'm posting to thank a dealer - I hope this is kosher. First of all, what a great collection of forums. As a longtime user of EBMM guits and basses, I often find myself abandoning my real responsibilities and lurking here. About a month ago, I decided I was sick of dealing with my Am. Std. Str*t and thought about snagging a SSS/trem AL or Silo. After some thought, I decided the AL was too cool not to have. Using MM online's dealer/instrument finder, I randomly typed in zip codes and located a few throughout the U.S. (I'm in central PA and my access to EBMM is nil within a 80 mile radius.) After a few phone calls, a trans teal was on the way from Leitz Music in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. I'd like to thank John Giles and the owner of Leitz for their excellent customer service and dedication to helping me with this long distance purchase. Thanks also go to EB for making great guits/basses and for providing this forum.

You're right, the AL is cool...and sweet sounding too.
Don't forget to post some pics....;)

Spud, do you have any pics of your AL you can email me? My hubby is gassing quite badly for one of these! You didn't order it from Cranes by any chance? (We used to live in Cardiff and my in-laws are still in the Rhondda Valley so I could combine a trip to the 2!) If not Cranes, was it another dealer in the area? Plus, how much did the baby set you back?

Super nosey I know - but the mister is seriously in love with that guitar and nobody round here stocks EBMM!

So new .... and yet so wise...we bid you welcome.

Yet if there are no pics,it does not exist....seeing is believing.....a picture is worth a thousand words....show me the money (I mean the AL)....picture this...freeze frame (do do do dodo do do) freeze frame.....additional cliches referencing imagery etc.......

Working on logistics since its mid week work day and I've got a deal which needs to be packaged by the 31st.

You're right!! The AL is too cool not to have. I ordered mine 5 weeks ago and the wait is killing me. It's nice to see the Legion of Albert Owner's growing on this forum. Maybe we can convince BP to hold a special Albert Lee clinic for AL owner's only. Imagine how it would look with Albert Lee and hundred's of AL owners all holding up thier awesome guitars !! :eek: :eek:

April would be awkward as it looks like I'll be working in Scotland for most of the month returning to Cardiff on weekends.
