Well, technically it showed up yesterday but didn't get a chance to play it until today.

I am pretty impressed with the Valentine thus far.

That being said, my wife was pretty confused when I gave her the heads up that my Valentine would be arriving and she needed to listen for the doorbell.

Very nice. It looks so much bigger than the Al and Axis... does the Valentine have the larger sized headstocks like the cutlass and stingray? Congrats on your new Valentine :)

Thanks everyone!

I haven't seen the cutlass or stingray in person so I can't compare to those but the headstock is definitely bigger than the AL or the ASS. In fact the whole guitar is bigger, there is a little perspective distortion in that picture so it might not be as pronounced as it looks there but no doubt it is larger.

What I find interesting is that it doesn't really feel bigger when I am playing it. I usually prefer smaller guitars and it feels very comfortable to me.

Congrats; very pretty guitar! I really want to get my hands on one of these and see if it can knock the Cutlass off the top of my "must buy next" list.

@mjm - I've read that the Valentine does have the larger headstock like the Cutlass and the StingRay.

Pretty! I know this is sacrilege to a number of you on this forum, but I've never been taken by the appearance of the AL. That said, that all rosewood neck model is flat-out gorgeous!

There's certainly a lot more body back of the bridge than with the Axis. And the headstock is 1/2" longer than the Axis at 6-3/8".

What I love about mine is the versatility, as well as the controls. The boost along with that bridge pickup sounds insane...boosted twang.

Yeah, it is pretty fantastic. Definitely one of my more versatile guitars.
