hi all!
i am very exciting about my new BFR axis, its an awesome instrument feel, play and looks great!
i was wounder if anyone ever flipped pups on his and what the recommendations that usually float :-)?
i feeling she is a bit buzzy and round on the neck pup, and cleans on the splits (2+4) are thin and lacking.
im not so much a clean player but its translate to a lot of different styles...

thanks!
enjoy my pix :-)

Wow! Very nice SS! I wouldn't know about the pups issue, I like the tone of my axes. So my guess is to change them if they sound better to you and your playing style.

It is your guitar, so do whatever is going to help you enjoy it the most. If there is a fuzzy quality to the pickups, once you hear it is hard to "un-hear." Transitions might be up your alley. Are you looking hotter or cooler?

Wow. That is one sweet looking Axis. Congrats! I'd play it a while before you mess with the pickups. I wasn't sold on the Transitions when I first got my Luke 3 but it was because I was so used to the sound of my other guitars. Now I wouldn't think of changing them.

Those are some of the best sounding pups I've ever heard so I have no advice on that issue. Congrats on an awesome guitar. I'm jealous.

thanks guys! i am keeping them for now, shoe sound awesome and i have a large guitars collection, so shes fits as she is :-)
