Love the olive gold on the Luke, but ran into this fairly rare bird and couldn't resist! Sparkles Rule!

Lou, very nice man, congrats!!! Where did you snag that from???

Ran into it at GC in Natick. Some guy traded his 3 JPs in for a PRS. Apparently he was moving to the bahamas or something and didn't have the room. His loss :P

They still have his loaded Mystic JP6 and a JPX on the wall. All 3 were mint. The Mystic is priced pretty low and probably has wiggle room. They also have a new Black JP6 with piezo, dots and matching head on clearance.

Lou, nice man, I go to that GC at lunch sometimes, it's only 15 minutes from where I work.

Congrats Lou!
Nice finish, isn't it? Her sister is living with me.
I love the olive gold finish as well, although the one on the Luke III is a little darker than this. The older finish has alittle more gold to it. But anyways, the colour is one of my favourites.
Cheers

Nice dude! I played all 3 of them a few days after they came in. They have that JPX priced WAAAAYYYYY too high. especially when you can get them on clearance from the stores that have them remaining for less than 2k.

nice, one popped up earlier this year, and I scooped it up. Like you I loved the luke III, bought one when they first came out, but prefer the JP's for playing. just dropped some new chrome tops in mine

thanks, AT-1 (Timmons Model) in the bridge, PAF 36th in the neck. sounds great!

This thread was totally worth a waking up for some more props on the olive gold sparkle love. These have been on my wish list for quite some time now. To the OP, nice score... to anyone that owns one of these, how's your relationship with her. Still enjoying the love? In the LukeIII, the transition pickups have that warm tone that I'm dying to just try out in person. The finish is always classy... Nice looking JP!
