My Neptune blue with roasted neck isn't expected for a few months yet (got in on the tail end of the second order window) so I'm on the edge of my seat when these pics are posted.

I wonder if it's possible to request a flame vs Birdseye neck on an order?

Hi Kevin, I don't think you can specify flame or birdseye. It's just luck of the draw.

Negative. I ordered this during the dealer open order window from Willcutt Guitars out of Lexington, KY.

I asked for:
ASS
Mm90's
Standard trem
Dense pattern quilt top
Flamed roasted maple neck with fingerboard

I did this knowing and stating to James, my guy at Willcutt, that I knew I would get what I get, and not to get upset... as EBMM does not take special requests/orders. I was drooling on the one up on EBay... Out of impatience. It's from a dealer in Southern, IL/St Louis area. Same configuration... Totally different look (and probably resonates differently). I have had nothing but exceptional treatment from Willcutt, and I would have felt bad pulling my order out of impatience.

Glad I did, and glad I went out of my way to pick it up in person.

I cannot take credit for it, but I agree! EBMM has their stuff together, that's for sure. It's the best playing/sounding rig I've had yet... My 11th EBMM.
