Here is a nice transparent purple Sterling up on eBay right now:

It has a really nice magenta look to it! I asked the seller if he/she has any other pics, perhaps in different lighting so we can see if this isn't just a result of exposure to direct sunlight.
 
Well, I wonder what the reserve is.

I could go for a purple Sterling, but the price would have to be killer.

I bid six bills and didn't hit the reserve.

Purple is cool, but I had a purple SR5 (with piezos) so I'm not going to fall all over myself to get this.

But I might go 650. Lemme have another martini and see.

Just a tip: The seller replied and said he/she will try to get some more pics and send them my way. Seller says, "The outside pics are really not a true representation of the color. It is a gorgeous purple!!" So yeah.

If it's priced like the rest I've been seeing on California ads, $750-800 is probably what she's after.
