Gah. I hate y'all. Now I'm starting to want an SUB. I played one yesterday and it nailed the Stingray tone.

I have a black sub also. I think it's the only colour to have a SUB in! As many ladies have pointed out, it's sooooo sexy! Be nice to se peiezo option though? it would be a great back-up bass for the stingray
 
I am DEFINITELY NOT in the market for another bass, and I have both a Stingray and a Stingray 5, so what would I need a SUB 5 for? Nothing! Nothing, I tell you!

But if I had any money, and I DO NOT, I'd give that bass some serious thought. Mighty sexy, ain't it?
 
I've just spent two hours playing mine in me bedroom. Not playing along to anything just playing. I don't if it's just my amp disgusing it but it sounds awesome. I've stuck some rotosounds on which give aslightly different sound to the ernieballs. I fint they arn't as 'airy' in the mid-range and have more ton but not as much high end treble, just personal preference though! Been practicing using three fingers on my plucking hand. Had to stop cus it got soar, so i pulled apick out and played with that for a bit. Im tempted to get a stingray, but im so chuffed with this bass!
 
The SUB won an outstanding Value award in BP mag several months back. I have feeling the guitar will too once it gets tested. There is not doubt they are excellent pieces for the money.
