Well guys, I finally got a new rig.....and i love it!!!
First of all I go straight into a BSS DI Box (AR-133) an then straight into the new JBL PRX 512M wedges (with built in 500w rms Crown Class D amp)...........OMG they will take your head off!!!!
As I run a small PA hire company, these PRX cabinets may very well end us being my sole Mid/High Cabs, but delivery really great, tight low end when used as monitors. So far, I have only ever needed to use one, but can't wait to slave a second one up too! A kilowatt of bass heaven in your face!!! Can't beat it
I throughly recommend this option for all you guys who need to hear what the hell is going on.....anybody else tried this? Of course it helps to use active basses with loads of tonal options.
By the way, these cabs are nothing like the EON series which after all were built for portability and nothing else.....These are also light but have tons of tone.
