Welcome to Day 7 of my annual New Year's New Guitar Days (NYNGD)!

Thanks for the kind words and comments on yesterday's #2020-6!

It's Christmas Eve. For those of you who celebrate, please make the most of these times with your family -- cherish the time with your loved ones because in these crazy times who knows what's coming. And maybe use this time to reach out to someone who's struggling through the holidays.

OK, enough melancholy, Jeff...

We're at the halfway mark on this year's NYNGD. Are you still with me?!? :D

Well... It's becoming something of a theme here: The Music Zoo here on Long Island continues to hit it out of the park with these limited runs. This time, a Luke III in their Music Zoo 25th Anniversary limited series to match the Axis from a couple days ago! Like the Axis, this finish is ALIVE but hard to photograph. I took a couple shots with the flash so you can see how it reacts to light. It's pretty stunning!

Another great LIII, this guy has already been in several sessions. Just a solid guitar!

Keep up the good work, Music Zoo!

I'll be back tomorrow with another NYNGD: New Year's New Guitar Day! Thanks for looking everyone!

(The back story in case you're new to my NYNGD: For the past couple of years I've done a fun thing that most of you I think enjoyed, and I thought I would do it again this year. Every year, I am a slacker about keeping my Guitar Gallery up to date... So, as a fun holiday thing, let's launch a guitar in the Guitar Gallery each day leading up to New Years Eve! In the past I've received PM's about my collection and whether I play all of these guitars. :) The same question came up during my NYNGD posts a few years ago and my answer was pretty detailed and well thought-out, so please check it out here!)

(Also, in case anybody gets any funny ideas -- these guitars are not at my house. They are all in my very secure and alarmed studio facility. I usually only have two guitars floating around the house...)

Wow Jeff, never saw that one offered!!! Sweet. I'm gonna guess and say either the Music Zoo Silo is in the mix or the BFR Silo is.

Do you have a preference on the hardware, black over chrome?

Congrats, those are quite the pair. Glenn |B)

Another gorgeous instrument! Similar to my comment about your Silver Sparkle Axis, I love the black hardware contrast against that finish.

I usually prefer chrome to black hardware, but that is really sharp! Pity about that neck, though. Guess they were fresh out of flame that day! :p

Wow! What an axe, Jeff! Great combo - silver sparkle, black hardware, and flame roasted neck. Definitely gets this LIII fan’s seal of approval. Rock on!

Man...that is gorgeous. The L3 and Axis together, though...wow.
