So on this Thanksgiving day, it's only appropriate to watch The Last Waltz. And the icing on the cake, the whipped cream on the pumpkin pie, the ice cream on the apple pie, is seeing those Musicman amps in the background.

Man I simply cannot hardly fathom it has been 31 years. Muddy doing Mannish Boy and Eric killing it on Further On Up The Road. Great memories but I feel really old right now.........

And so much of that music is still spot on. Joni Mitchell, Dr. John, The Staple Singers - sure wish I had been at that concert. Watching Mavis and Pop's sing still brings tears to my eyes.

Plus-the mix on the DVD sounds killer. Very interesting backstory on how that film was put together. Good stuff.
