My sister watches bad daytime TV and today I wandered through on the way to the pool, and who should be performing his one and only hit?

Rick Springfield. I thought it was funny that they mentioned his "new CD" but he played "Jessie's Girl" anyway.

But his bassist, who was invisible in the mix, was pouding away (with a pick) on a really nice Stingray 5.
 
Not I and I'm old enough to remember. I think in 1972 I was being transformed by Todd Rundgren's "Something Anything" after being in a Deep Purple phase for a few years (which wasn't quite over either).

Tonight, I also saw Billy Corrigan (sp?) on Letterman. Billy was pouding away on a double hummer Reverend guitar.
