Is it just me, or is there an issue with the Forumites Official thread ?

You can get to the last page, but not via the "last page" link.

Yep, I noticed that. The most recent posts are shown, but it appears that there are posts missing because page count hasn't taken post deletions into account.
 
It hasn't worked all week!
You can get into the thread by not going to the last page. You have to sneak up to it. :confused::cool:
 
Think it has to do with the Limbo some members have been put in where they are still listed as active members with post counts, but you cannot read or find any of their posts, either in the thread or though a search.

Consider that the For Sale thread is two pages behind.

You are getting to the last page and seeing all posts available for viewing, it just seems to be more.

Or let BP phrase it more succinctly

It's also messed up the search engine as it now sends you to the post's position in the thread prior to the post deletions. Crazy stuff! :)
 
Hah! I can only imagine all the posts here that we can't see ... must be some amusing stuff.

The little idiosyncrasies are part of the charm here. Embrace 'em :)

Speaking of that thread. It's GREAT to be able to go and see pics of the guitars but the thread gets bogged down by people chatting in it. That thread would be less than half the length it is if people just posted pics of the guitars and didn't comment on them.

My five cents.

What, and double up the Pelle n' Cran budget on you ;)

I have a family wedding out in Seattle 3 weeks after, that actually corresponds with my own 20th wedding anniversary. I extended that into a longer trip for the wife and I. Between travel, wedding and annivesary expenses, it's taken up the balance of my T&E budget for the year (and possibly beyond :o).

I'm sure the desert bash will be a blast. But between the bride and grooms' families this is going to be an Irish, Puerto Rican, and Cajun affair - should be interesting :)

Now back to your regularly scheduled - hey why are there extra page numbers confusion thread.
