Oh, My, GOD! Have a look at this!

Looks fantastic. I love the Majesty without the shield. If they had omitted the inlays I don't think I could have resisted. I can't wait to see them next week.

It looks sick as hell, BUT i will say that i personally prefer the uniqueness/minimalistic look of the Mahogany + Maple shield. However, i actually wonder what the tone and sustain differences will be between the (possibly as seen) Maple Neck vs the current Honduran Mahogany Neck of the Monarchy, since Maple is tougher overall. I also wonder if there will be other changes on the electronics of the guitar as well (etc. pickups), i really look forward to some reviews or/and comparisons between this model and the Monarchy in order to come to a final verdict of which one to order.

Full details next Thursday, don't let your eyes deceive you.

Huh, matching painted neck is one thing I see.

Ball fans aren't that partial to painted necks, we're conditioned to the natural ones. Was looking for a black sugar there for a while, people just are skiddish about the painted necks.

Personally for me, I don't see any issues whatsoever. I had a JPX and it was just fine. Didn't bond with the neck/frets, but I'd have gotten a black sugar in a heartbeat.

this one looks gloss tho. same as the BFR, i wish they keep the satin neck finish.
The original majesty guitars had gloss necks, and they always have finished necks. I believe the neck finish matches the body, so if the body is satin, the neck is satin, and vice versa. The top coat is put on the entire body at the same time.

The bolt on JP models have oil and wax blend finishes for the most part.

Nope. The standard JP series and JP15, JP16 comes with unfinished necks, BFR's (BFR, JPX, JPXI, JP12, JP13) has high gloss necks at the back, standard Majesty, Artisan and Monarchy has satin (matte) neck backs.
This thing will change with the new line.

nope. i have an original majesty glacial frost and it has a satin neck finish. definitely not gloss

If they show some crazy quilted top of the quality of the bali or equivalent, I'm gonna die inside.
If so, please prepare one to be reachable in france or I'll sink into impossible GAS depression.
