..For another Petrucci :)

That Mystic Dream has been calling me for so long now, it's not even funny. I really want a JP7 too, so in the time i'm saving, i'll decide whether it's the 6 or 7 I go for. For some reason if I get it Mystic, I want that to be another 6, no idea why. I'm thinking Carbon Blue Pearl or Egyptian Smoke for the 7.

Now, the saving begins...

Yeah, when i got the DVD i was so surprised to see it right on the 1st (and 2nd) song, and it looked amazing... can't wait for mine!

Looks great on "The Root Of All Evil" on SCORE.
Well...it's a JP6, not 7.

I think that the guitar on "I Walk Beside You" is Graphite Pearl, tuned 1 step down. I think that is probably the same guitar on "Endless Sacrifice" on "Live At Budokan." The guitar on TROAE is 1/2 step down and Egyptian Smoke. JP uses different color guitars for different tunings. He seems to keep pretty much the same guitars in pretty much the same tunings from my unscientific observations over the past couple tours, live DVDs, the fanclub DVD from last Christmas, and the one clinic I saw.

He uses Egyptian Smoke on The Root Of All Evil on Score, and Endless Sacrifice on Live at Budokan, and Graphite Pearl on I Walk Beside You on Score and As I Am and In The Name of God on Live at Budokan.

Hmmm...I thought it was Black Sapphire on As I Am and In The Name of God on Budokan. Oh well. Who knows? I'll have to take another look.

I have to admit. I was debating whether or not it was Egyptian Smoke or Graphite on Endless Sacrifice. I still think it was Graphite, but when I saw them live in Detroit on the TOT tour, I really thought it was Egyptian Smoke. So, again, who knows?
