older tolex original music man C & G evh/axis case question

Hello, can anybody tell me if i can put the axis/evh guitar in the old original 90's music man C&G case with the trem arm on, just like in the newer music man cases? does it fit in and can i close the case without the lid touching the arm?

I have 3 of the old cases (96 Axis, 97 Axis Sport, 00 Axis) and I have always put them in the cases with the trem arm. Keep in mind, that the trem bar doesn't screw off as the Peavey Wolfgang so the case had to fit with the trem bar on.

Yes you can leave it on, funny yesterday my handle of my silhouette case broke after 25 years of road abuse...poor qualitiy these cases are really good.
