Hey there-

I don't have an OLP, so I can't comment. (They're not made by MusicMan, they just license the design).

Best bet is to contact OLP directly and ask them.

I've checked with my buddy Olplayer who has the OLP Axis.

He says that he cannot see a serial number. There is a sticker on the neck plate but that's in Chinese, and appears to be a quality check sticker.

necro thread simply to say that if you don't see a serial number listed some "genius" may have actually put it inside one of the cavitys or on the back of the pickguard or even the neck plate. I have see it a few times on various instruments including OLP. now if you don't want to disassemble the instrument to look then I would just say don't worry about it.

on my OLP MM/stingray my serial number is actually painted on the back of the headstock at the base and is serial number 60651589, although I am guessing due to lack of finding any database for OLP serials I would say my bass was made in june 1996 and is the 51,589th one off the line.

I wish we had an OLP database though it would be nice to know for sure if my guess is right or not LOL
