(I suppose this can be moved to another sub-forum, but who cares)

No doubt!!!! I was supposed to be doing my homework right now, but this came up and now I can't think of any "Similarities and Differences between 1984 and Animal Farm" lol!

Animal Farm is a satirical allegory of Soviet totaliltarianism... that should get you started... the internet is your friend.

lol at Radrock.

And yeah, the similarities are very obvious and I know a lot of 'em, I just don't feel like doing it now...:D

Excellent, Jon's a great guy and really, really nice. Have fun.

A little tip from your Uncle Tim.

First off, congrats. this young guitar slinger sounds like he's going places... so meet him now before he gets big.

Whenever I did my writings in school, I would randomly throw in a "mastery of the obvious" essay. For your intents and purposes, here:

Similarities: written by the same guy, both are long and drawn out, both have clever underlying messages.

Diffferences: A different number of pages, different plots.

I found that the best way to get great marks is to give the teacher something to laugh about, but do it so well that you can't possibly be dinged for it. My best works were ones where comedy was the intent.

But anyways, that's just my idea. Have fun at your litttle shindig.

Haha, jimmy-jengas, I just finished my homework. I put "Both stories take place in Britain" as my last point 'cause I just wanted to finish. But don't worry, I have a 96% in U. English, so I've got some leeway....

Oh, and Axistence, no doubt. ;)

Sweet!!! Have fun. You better tell us how it went. lol. I never been to one of these things so I dont know what there like.

If you dont mind me asking. What show are you going to?

Toronto show, BlackViper. I've never been to one of these either...

Actually, it's funny, I bought a gold ticket to the DT show on the 22nd of March, last year and was kinda disappointed that I didn't get picked, but I had a 3rd row seat, so I didn't really care 'cause Sacrificed Sons, Octavarium and Learning to Live totally brought the house down.

This year, for G3, my friend (masterofpuppets222 on the JP forums) and I got gold tickets and the seats aren't TOO great, row k or somethin' and yet, now I get to meet him! I've never won anything by chance, always by effort, so I still can't believe it!!!

Cool. I was thinking about buying those tickets but I didnt but I got ok seats and this will be my first time seeing him play live I cant wait.
