One for the Legal Department???

I was under the impression that the Jay Turser models were what prompted the whole OLP thing.

I really don't know about the legality of it all. But the Turser guitars have been out for a long time. I'd be shocked if Music Man hasn't known about them for years.

The first "knock off" I ever saw was a Chinese or Korean copy way back when EVH's were still in production. It's nothing new. And I wouldn't be surprised if those copies motivated the OLP line. But I don't know that either.

Maybe BP should get his own back and introduce the EBMM Shark model... ;)

Did you guys see the angles necessary to have the string reach the tuning post on that shark guitar? Egad!

LOL! I love that! We should start making knock offs of Chinese-designed models.... HAHAHAHA!!!

When Bill and I were in Shanghai, we got so fed up with people trying to sell us watches that we started trying to sell them OUR watches -- they were shocked, I don't think they knew what to say.

:D
