Well i've been GAS'ing pretty bad to try out a Bongo in a real world situation(Not at GC) lately.I've had a couple of possible trades that didn't pan out and was outbid just this morning on a nice Lava Pearl Bongo 4HH:mad: . Anyways, I was talking with Arin the other night and came up with an idea . I was wondering if anyone here on the forum would be willing to do a one month swap....Your Bongo 4(HH or HS) for my Sterling or Stingray 4 ? Only stipulation is that we both ship with insurance($1000 ?). Any takers?

Not that I'm in any position to offer a trade, but the 1 month swap is brilliant!

+1...the only better thing I could imagine is somehow working it out so that youv'e got both basses at the same time, to do a heads-up comparison. That would be ideal.

I've often wondered how an H would sound next to my HH, but haven't really had the opportunity to find out.

What if you don't want to give it back? ;)

Also, I think the insurance should be enough to cover replacement value, not just $1000. Hate for something to happen and you don't get enough $$ back to go out and buy a new bass.

If each owner insures their own respective instrument on the way out, and maybe pay for round trip shipping, they can insure it for however much they want.

As far as i'm concerned $1000 is plenty enough to buy another used Music Man. I've already got an offer pending and we will work this detail out between us......Thanks:)

I'm not too keen on shipping basses, but drive on in to AZ, and I'll do it. :)

I have a Lava Pearl 4HH, and a Desert Gold 4H - I'd love to try a Sterling preferrably a 4HS, but I'm not picky. I'm currently not in a band, so I can live without either bass for a little while.
