Actually that was the second day and I did have a Dr's note and I know there was a sixer stashed in some little fridge somewhere at the factory...I could smell it.
 
I'll never forget being so excited that when i left the hotel in anaheim that i didn't bother to look at the map so when i saw the signs for "the grapevine" and mileage to bakersfield i knew that maybe it was time to look at a map.... :o , quick early early AM U-Turn through LA and it was SLO bound!

Amazing time!
