For all you guys who signed up and new came, you missed the party of your life.
Big Poppa went all out, I've never known in the 27 years of my career for any Music company too ever put on a Spread like this.

Big Poppa your as amazing as the instruments you make. Also to the Musicians both Friday Night and the Gods on saturday night, UNBELIEVABLE.

ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW.
Too many people to thank but if i may, Thank You Biff and My all time Hereo The Amazing Dudley Gimpel.

Aaaah great, ok why cant-i-be-older-and-have-a-full-paid-job-so-i-can-travel-to-the most-amazing-weekend-of-bassplaying-heaven...

So who travelled from abroad then??

Rod Trussbroken and Paul Hogan :D ...J/K I don't remember the name of Rod's friend.I did see them both getting plenty of pictures and serial numbers though. I would also like to thank Sterling for one of the most memorable weekends of my life.He was too generous and and one hell of a public speaker as well. I won't comment on Luke but everyone who was there knows what i'm talking about :D I also have to give props to my wife for hanging with me all weekend and not complaining.........much

+1. I saw that rosewood neck too, and it was beautiful. Was that a prototype?

And you didn't even hear him on Saturday :D
Yeah, I kind of wanted to stick around, but the money for a second nights' stay wasn't there.

I've got a pretty good idea though, based on Friday night!:D

Not sure if that was a proto or not, but I hear that it won't see the light of day, as the Buttercream finish is discontinued.

Too bad, too. It was the perfect bass! Played like butter (cream)!

Thanks for posting the photos! Man, I really wish I could have been there. Maybe next time....

In the Special Events forum, I saw some shots of Sterling's ultra-cool Lincoln!! Sweet!

looks like to guys had an awesome time there!

Shamus - great pics!

Rosewood neck on Buttercream was GEORGEOUS! There's also a pic of the mahogany Bongo w/ a perfectly stained-to-match birdseye maple neck. Beautiful...

Waiting patiently to see if these experiments become regularly available or limited edition options... BP was hinting, but wasn't saying! ;)

My patience for a new Bongo has reached it's peak...3 days!

I now have my '94 Magna 750 up for sale (I'm buying a new 1500cc in April anyway), and am using some of the cash to sport my new Bongo.

I'm bummed, though, that the Buttercream HH B that I whored for nearly an hour-and-a-half is not for sale!

What a cool experience this weekend has been and many of you missed out on something that was a truly rare opportunity and very graciously extended by a guy, the likes of which, is a rare find in this world...Biff rules...thanks brother!

Kudos to Sterling and the entire Ball "family"...what a blast and yes, I kissed Luke on the lips...

Was the film rolling?:D

I have no clue what the roving photographer wearing the red table cloth all day may or may not have captured but I grant Sterling full rights to publish any and all images....
