i am ordering this bass, but it wont arrived until a couple weeks from slo
sr5 honey burst, matching head, black pickguard

i am thinking to get another pickguard ..
do you think clear pickguard would go great on this finish?

btw .. basscentral has it latest clear pickguard

I think a plain white pickguard would look awesome with the Honey Burst finish. I, too, was eyeing a honeyburst StingRay 4 as my next bass! But the Bongo may rule out in the end.

As for pickguards, check out eBay. As of now, there are quite a few pickguards up for sale.

Except with a clear pickguard on the SR5, your electronics are visible. Looks nasty to me.

i'm sure theres custom pickguards out there some where for sr5's. but i think a clear one would look phat, i saw some one play a 5 with no pickguard and it looked awsome.

Sweet! I was thinking of taking my pick guard and having it airbrushed with a custom job but I think that this would be better!

i think $62.50 for a sr5 pickguard non-personalization is too expensive ...
