I personally vote against the EMGs.....I dunno I was never a big fan. I'm more of a Duncan guy through and through. If it's possible, someone should add this addendum:
SSS: Duncan Little 59's

Truth is, I don't want to see the guitar go too far from what it is and always has been - things like the pickguard are a part of the Silhouette design, and I don't know that it should be "redesigned" for the commemorative model. What I'd really like to see is some special options with a 20th Anniversary headstock blaze & neck plate; options like EMGs, the return of the Floyd Rose, Ash for a body wood, and a couple of exclusive finishes that run the gambit from flash to reserved so that eveyone can get the perfect Sil for them... They could take orders/deposits over a very limited time frame (two months?) and when time's up, you churn 'em out and however many you built, that's however many there are, in the options ordered and no others, and then that's the end of it....

I'm liking this idea. Nothing sounds better than EMG's.
Logic Behind the Thinking
The Silhouette was Ernie Ball's first guitar. A lot of the ideas that went into building this guitar is what made it the guitar for me. Still, as Ernie Ball introduced other guitars, they had features I wish I could have on my Silhouette. They are as follows:
Steve Morse: The Bridge Activation Toggle Switch
Adding the Bridge Humbucker to what ever you have selected on the 5 way is way cool. It adds just a touch of heat and bite instantly. How else can you run both Humbuckers to get that wide open Les Paul sound?
Albert Lee: Ash wood. My personal choice as well because you can feel the power.
EVH/Axis: Quilt/Flame Tops. Art by nature. Besides, Who doesn't love sporting the good wood on their Balls? The way this was done for the 20th anniversary Sting Rays really sets a president that should be followed.
Luke: EMG Pickups. That is just an easy choice. The two Silhouettes I put EMG's in are my workhorses.
Petrucci: Fretboard Inlays. These are just cool.
