Off the topic of EB, but I'm looking to run a line from my Ampeg BA-112 to a PA, but not sure if I'm using speaker cable or instrument cable from the "Line out" 1/4" jack on the amp.

Manual states:
9. LINE OUT: This jack supplies a post-eq,
unbalanced line level signal for connecting
to a house sound board, recording unit or
external amplifier. The level of this signal is
controlled by the Volume control (#3).

Any help is appreciated!

I would just use the highest quality (and heaviest guage) cable you can find. Something like a monster cable or what have you......

.... or get an Avalon U5 DI to go into first and then put that into the house as well as the active thru to the effects return on your amp and have it be your "everything'... hehehehe
your ears, basses and listening public would thank you....;)
