As some of you might remember, several months ago I was working on a Checker Cab motif to put on a SUB Stingray.

I couldn't bring myself to do it, and sold that bass to KennetB.

Instead, I bought a Yamaha SBV bass from fellow forumite DaphneBlue.

And I sent it away to RS Guitarworks.

Well, here is the result!

I guess I rocked too hard! I'm getting old!

They did a damn fine job!

If you ever need a refinish, I highly recommend them!

Next project WILL be an EBMM!

Probably a SUB Sterling. Hawaiian shirt sparkle with "tiny bubble" inlays!

I wonder who inspired that? :D

Good looking finish on the bass. Your finish looks painful Ritchie.

That looks pretty good, Ritchie.

I like!

Just for informational purposes, if someone were going to have, say, a Checker Cab finish put on, say, a SUB, what kind of dinero are we talking about?

It was $385 including shipping costs.

Yellow Sparkle... I have a vision... of a 2009 LE.... ;)

Yeah, BP loves yellow even more than he loves green.

I've been bugging Sterling for a yellow bass for ages. He just shakes his head and walks away. :D
