I just saw Elvis Costello and Emmylou Harris on Letterman doing a really slow western version of "Love Hurts".

Wow. I wonder if that cut is on the new Costello or new Emmylou disk.

Anyone know?

Did they follow it up with a snappy new wave version of "Hair O' The Dog"?!?!
Since we're already OT anyway didn't Nazareth's bass player use a Ricky? Sure sounds like it on that album.

Yea saw them on the Today show this morning doing love hurts.
the bass work on 'everyday I write the book" and "monkey to man"
is some cool stuff.

E.C.'s music has always been chock full of great basslines. Bruce Thomas with the earlier stuff and Davey Faragher the last few albums. When I Was Cruel has some sweet stufff.
