Hey all:

I just turned on SNL here in Phoenix, and caught the second performance of U2 on the show. If you watch SNL regularly, you know that the artist of the evening plays 1/2 hour in, and 1 hour in, etc.

Considering that they're promoting the new album, I can guarantee that the first song that was played (and I missed) was Vertigo, most commonly heard in the iPod ads. I need to see a live version of this, as the folks in my project want to do this as a cover, and I like to use live versions as study also for learning, etc.

In all, it starts in its entirety in 45 mins on the west coast @ 11:30 PST. Can someone on the board here in that time zone record it for me.

I would be extremely grateful if someone could help me out with this.

Thanks!

Hey Darrell,

You may be able to download a live video of the song from "Bear Share", "Song Spy" or simular download sites. I've downloaded ALOT of video stuff and even full concerts. It's all in your search too. Don't forget "Letterman", "Leno", "Conan", etc...

What helps me tremendously when learning new covers, is listening to acoustic versions as well.

PS: Sorry I missed the SNL. I woulda taped it for ya. ;)

They rocked - Vertigo was first, don't know the second song (but it was great too) and then they played "I Will Follow" at the closing. They were set to play more when the channel broke away.

Darrell - pm me - I can help you out...
