Thanks BP for your words.

I was surprised by how many of you shot me an email. To all of you thanks. Im glad to know Im not the only one who feels the way I do.

But, back to you BP, youre right. I dont need to jump ship right now. Ive been here for a long time. I remember when the regulars were jongitarz or juanguitarez:D , bovine, cgworkman, larry-mobay45-, tom-tkarter, Gav-rod trussbroken, and Andrew-Mingus Bass. Long time ago, huh? Since then weve gained a large number of great people, and had a tough, nickthebassist type member every once and a while. We always make it through the tough times, and we will again. This EB family has been good to me, from BP, Scott, Jon, Jack, all the way down to the youngest of members (so is that Figgy or Andrew?:D )

I guess what Im saying is that the vast majority of you guys really are like famly to me. Weird because Ive never seen some of you face to face, but I know if in a bind, I can count on you. So Im not leaving, not at all.

Id hate to miss out on this great place, Im certainly not going to let one bad apple ruin the bunch for me.

Hey Mark, I'll be your friend.

Edit... That looks creepy without a smiley, ;)

Dude, I wish I had gotten here earlier, but you know what, the reason there is so much fun here is becuse of all the cats you mentioned, the EB staff, yourself and *edit* Aussie mark*/edit*

Let's form an Envy Green owners club, shall we?

That's the first time in my life I've felt warm and fuzzy after being called a turd :D

Always wondered why I was appointed a moderator.

I though it was my Chick Magnet qualities. But I'm top of the list ;)

Yep. That is why I love this forum. I have had the honor of meeting quite a few of the forumites here and everyone I have met were super cool. I am glad you are staying. I have seen the "other" things and decided to stay out.......

Thanks for staying man.

I haven't actually seen the threads containing the problem, but hate to see someone bow out of a community in such a manner. I hope I am reading correctly that no one is really leaving, in the final outcome?

Jason. My man. My sincerest apologies. Jason is yet another that has been a key guy since I got here. The man hooked me up with two sets of flats for next to nothing, when I wanted to try flats out. Not to mention gave me a slice of humble pie, when I met him at the Atlanta GC and heard him play his white H/SC/Piezo fretless Bongo 5.

Although my quantity of posts suggests
I'm relatively new, I've been around here
for a bit (Jan. 2004).

Keep cool and hang in there Travis . . . Gav
teaches you the EBMM secret handshake
after 2 years . . . it's very, very cool

I wish your dad a speedy recovery. He'll
be fine.

Glad I could be the one to make it happen.:D

Another guy that was here in the early days was Todd (Spectorbassguy) and he is an awesome fella. Has been going through some hard times, and I hope all is well with you Todd.

And Id hate to forget Peter D. Even if he does mutilate Bongos in his spare time for fun.;) :D

Heh--flattery will get you everywhere.

Stick around. It's not rocket science. It's not national security. It's hunks of wood, metal, and paint.

Not to mention lizards, Swedish, and moose turds.....
