OT: Ladies and Gentleman, Big News

Gongratulations .. it sounds like you deserve them.

OTOH - Being a Brit in Holland I don't quite kow what the award is except that its a top scouting award.

It's big stuff. Out of the hundreds of thousands of boys that start scouts only 2% actually earn that award. I started scouts at the lowest level when I was 5 or 6 and I turn 18 in three days. I've been working on this a while to say the least.

Congrats. Takes a lot to stick with it that long. Job well done young man.

That is a fantastic achivement that deserves more respect than it gets.
Good Show sir and you have my respect.

Way to go!

I was a Scout for many years, never got past Tenderfoot, but I had a great time.

I salute you, although I forgot the salute...

Congrats!

*and now a Scout joke....*

"I was kicked out of the Boy Scouts for eating a Brownie...."

Congratulations! I was also a scout. For me it was mostly an excuse to hang out with my friends on Wednesday nights and skate after the scout meeting was over.I don't even remember how far I got but I had some good times also:)

Congratulations! I don't know what it means or what you had to do to earn, but hey!
I'm also a member of the scouts, since I was 6 and this is my last year (I'm now 21), which means I've been a 'leader' for several years now (my fourth this year, to be exactly). It is really cool, especially when you're a leader! Luckily the kids don't know what we do when they go to sleep :D (they probably think the same of us)

Just what is it that you do when they go to sleep? You know, there are laws against those types of things. ;) :D

Congratulations

Last night I earned the Eagle Scout award. Just thought I'd share.

Wayyy 2 Go,

My Dad was a Scout before I was a 'sprout';
- in honor of your award I looked at his 33 1/3 rpm Long Play recording of the
Canadian Boy Scouts' Association 1958 Gilwell Reunion Campfire
(just a few years ahead of your time :)
~
Congratulations,
/R

Based on all the bad press over the past decade about some of the people who become scout leaders, I say any boy scout who makes it out with a tight sphincter definitely deserves a badge
