I've been jonesin' for some of those Reef sandals with the built-in bottle openers like BP since I saw his last September. Now I have some. They just came in the mail today.

Everybody should have a few pairs of these.

One pair is all you need Larry. I don't have the bottle opener kind, but the pair of Reefs I bought in summer of '04 are still kickin' it. The previous summers I had to replace my flip flops before at least twice before the end of the summer. Ya get what you pay for.

i have 2 pairs of checkered quicksilver flipflops that i got for like $3 at some surf shop, they dont last that long but they're awesome

I bought a pair of those over a year ago, and two months after I bought them I went deep sea fishing in Mexico. We brought a cooler but no bottle opener and I had no idea that there was an opener on the bottom of my sandals. So anyways, my friend had been opening our with his teeth and cracked one of his molars open. I kicked my feet up on the ride back and he noticed the openers and wasn't a happy guy....

I dont have the sandals with bottle openers, but I do have a pair of Reef flip flops, and I love em. During the summer months, youll be hard pressed to see me wearing other shoes. Those jokers are comfortable, and mold to the shape of your foot after some wear.

A big +3.143825 for Reefs.

Darg, don't you know the lighter trick???

Lighter trick: hold beer bottle top and cap with your left hand. Let webbing of hand wrap around bottom of bottlecap. take lighter in right hand and wedge the bottom of the lighter between bottom edge of bottlecap and webbing of hand. using leverage, move lighter down, popping up the bottlecap. Voila! Beer thirty!

And there I was thinking you put a lighted flame on the metal cap, the metal expanded making it easier to remove! ;)

my vodka has a screw cap....

no bottle opener required, besides my hand, and they don't make sandals with hands on them.
