In the phrase dictionary, next to "Because I can" is a picture of that very same bass. Notice the nearly 3-octave fingerboard on the FL side.

Tobias? Drozd basses don't really resmble Tobias stuff at all. Maybe the fact that they both use fancy coffee table wood, but thats about it.

Yeah...the headstock, the back shot, and the soapbar pickups.

Right down to the headstock logo.

I guess I can see the similarities on the headstock, althought the headstock is longer an the cut is offset. But the body styles are quite a bit difference. The Drozd stuff is more slender and flowing, almost cartoonish looking, while the Tobias stuff is wider and more angular, especially the horns.

Well, Michael Tobias is one of the old school guys, kinda like Rick Turner. Jerzy Drozd is a luthier from Spain, and from pictures, appears to be a younge guy.
