Ships UPS oversize and is rated at 30 lbs. Actual weight is somehow right around 22-25 lbs.

Petes right -----when it comes to UPS you have to figure in the box dimensions as well as weight. A guitar case is probably considered OS2 or oversize 2 and will be billed that way regardless of actual weight. Dont forget to figure in insurance as well.
Yeah, I'm just looking at some quotes and stuff online.. I've heard really good things about the Global Express stuff from USPS - and they seem to do things by weight as long as they're within certain restrictions. It does get pretty expensive though once you start to chime in insurance and what have you though!
What couriers have people used to ship guitars internationally before and had good service from? Shipping to the UK.
