My band had a photo shoot with a photog tonight. I was the only one who remembered to bring my guitar. So, in a week or so I should have some cool pics with my JP6 to show you!

The guitar looked great in the pics (Pearl Redburst).

The photog is my bass player's brother-in-law, so he did us up and shot 200 pictures of us tonight! He is going to burn me a CD with all the shots on there.
(or at least the better ones, I suppose).

Photo Shoots are fun from a photographers stand point if the band is cool to work with.
I've done a few live show Shoots for a friend of mine and that was a riot... being with the Band and Shooting as they played... Id do that again in a heart beat!

We had a good time at the shoot. Many times we were in tears from laughing so hard! I got to see two of the pics today, the JP guitar is front & center in one of them. Man, it looks good! When I get my copy, I'll have to submit it to Big Poppa to see if he wants to use it for an advertisment. ;)

How's this for a band shot even though it's three years old?

I know it's not from an official photo shoot, but it's pretty cool.

Notice the EBMM endorsements!!!

ernie,

that's a cool shot. Is that you on guitar? I can't visulaize you without a Petrucci in hand... ;)

I must say I pictured Ernie to be older looking!

I ain't playing a Pet because I was in my EVH addiction phase. at the time.

Enough of my thread hijacking, SteveB, when are we gonna see some of your photoshoot pics? I like seing what my fellow forumers look like.

I had an unusual photo op on Thursday night. My buddy had his blues CD release party at a a local little ampitheater in the hot sun. I was playing lead guitar for the band (to help support the CD) with my trusty Pet 7.

We had quite a bit of local press there and it was a good time. Anyway, between songs my three year old daughter came up and rushed the little stage. She came up to the stage and yelled, "That's my Daddy!". So I bent over and kissed her forehead. Well the local paper snapped the shot and yesterday's paper ran the photo. I had to clip it out and save it for her, she a celebrity now!

ernie,

I have no idea how long it will be before I see a proof or print. I'm hoping that it will be within a week or two. If not, maybe I can con my bass player into letting me scan the prints that he has. I certainly won't have anything before this Thursday, which is the next time I'll see the bandmates.

You guys will be the first to know when I've got the goods.
