I got a glorified power strip. Rack mount MONSTER POWER PRO2500. Anyone have this model and can help me? I haven't taken it out of the box yet.
I thought it'd be a little different than the Furman pl8 plus I'm used to. It looks cool, too.

I have that exact power conditioner in my rack with my Demeter and Crown K2. It is supposed to have sightly better conditioning than the Furman. I own both and cannot say that I can tell a difference sonically. I do enjoy the timed power up and down feature of the Monster.

Hope this was what you were looking for.

I think that's what I have, and the nice thing about it is that it has a power sequencer in it as well as the filters. When you turn it on, the low power outlets come on first, and then about 5 seconds later, the high power outlets (where your amp should be connected) so that you don't have to worry about dinking with amp/effect power switches to come on in the correct order. It goes off in the opposite sequence - amp first, then the other stuff 5 seconds later. Not much more to say than that. Oh, the worklight feature is nice if you can find one . . . .
