Pickguard Change

If I buy a StingRay5 that has everything I'm looking for, except the pickguard I want, where do peeps get a different pickguard? I could not find any on the Ernie Ball website.

Just call Ernie Ball. I have ordered several guards from them and they have been great. Otherwise, if you want something more exotic do a search and you will find several companies that make custom pickguards. Beware, their fit may not be as good as one from Ernie Ball directly though. Give them a call, it can only help.

Thanks guys. I love every one of my EB basses. I first got into EB basses while in Boston, my instructor Jim Stinnett turned me on to the black 5 string and it was no looking back from there. I used to play Zon and Alembic, but have sold all of them except an amethyst Zon fretless Legacy.

I have found that each EB bass has a distinct characteristic. Each band I play with has a favorite they like me to play. This also helps when justifying the extra bass purchases to my wife!

I will post pictures of the purple soon with some of the others when I get my digital camera back.

let's say a transparent one , do EB sell those , and how much do they charge when you call them , I wanna get some other p/g but how does it work , they take credit card ?

First off, I live in Indianapolis.

In regards to the clear pickguard, I have my PBB Sterling on order with one now. The exact quote I got was that they sometimes have the material to make the clear in stock so we will see what it comes with. The past pickguards I have purchased I did so over the phone with a credit card and they were here within the week. Great customer service.
