Hey,

I was looking at the specs for the Bongo on the MM website and saw that dual hummbucking pickups with neodymium magnets are available. I'm a bit curious:

- Do neodymium magnets make the bass sound better?

- If I buy a few neodymium magnets, lower my pickup a bit on my stingray, and slap them on over the current magnets, will I get a better sound? Or will my bass explode?

Thanks,
midopa

Pure Genious!!! Bass Explosion on stage would ROCK. That would top Jimi Hendrix's guitar flame trick and the gig by Great White. Take plenty of pics!!!

Haha. It would, but not on my basses. Haha. Someone else try it. Go to gaussboys.com, order neodymium magnets, snap 'em on, and take pics. I prefer the slo-mo stuff, but you can have crappy video quality - I just wanna see a bass explode. Hahaha

Poor Great White... I was in Kansas not long ago, and saw a poster on the door of a Taco Bell for an upcoming Great White concert. Didn't a member of the band die in that accident?

Yes. I believe it was the lead guitarist, Ty Longley.

My God, what a tradgedy that was.

The first anniversary of the fire is coming up at the end of next week.
