Pickup replacements for MM, favorites... why the swap

Anyways I was thinking the other day about pickup replacements for MM. All my rays are stock because they are anniversary models and they are just perfect in every way, but I´ve replaced a couple of my friends subs with barts and to be honest the tone is better (for what he uses them for). the barts are much more subtle and clear, not as aggresive. But great harmonics and pickup all around.
Which replacement pickups have you guys used recommend... and why...

My friend used the bart for some metalcore and heavier stuff that the stock pickup was just to punchy for...
