I was perusing your photo gallery just now (lots of fine looking MMs there!) and I noticed you captioned this pic of my '76 fretless as "white pickguard". Actually that photo was taken with NO pickguard, and shows how much the original white finish has aged to it's present lovely butterscotch .....

Did the pre-EB MM basses really have the cavity around the pickup? Anyway, great lookin' bass! Such a nicely aged finish, save for that lil' bit on the top of the bass, though.
