I have that look on my kit P bass. That way it will look as good as the black SR5 with the abalone p/g and knobs.

I went for mop because of the colour of the bass.That purple deserves something trashy.I recently saw some vinyl stick on material that could be cut to shape.Might as well put some of that on the tuner paddles as well.

I think the chrome looks better. The MOP may blend in too much w/ the pickguard making the knobs hard to see...beautiful bass by the way...I love that color.

Xanax is usually the drug of choice, but only every once in a while when things get crazy!
I think the MOP knobs are worth a try, if they're not to expensive. It would be cool because it would keep the same theme going that you have on the black SR5. If you don't like them, you don't have to use them. Might as well try.
