Pop Goes the Knobs?

I'm thinking of picking up some abalone-topped knobs for my stingray. What I want to know is how do you take the ones on the bass off?

OK, you will need the hedge clippers, a sock and some ordinary household bleach...

an allen wrench should be about it.

If you have a 3-band preamp, be sure to have the pot at the center point when you put the new knobs back on.
