I have 2 right now. 1 is a JP6 in pearlred with piezo. and the other is a 1995 white silo with maple neck. Its gutted at the moment but will soon have an Dimarzio X2N in the bridge and a Dimarzio Tone Zone for the neck. Im getting a 3 way pickup toggle (just like the on the JPs) and a white pearloid 3ply guard and only 1 volume as well as the Shaller locking tuners with the pearl toppers!
I will for sure post SEVERAL pics when its done!
Thanks Pete for helping me out with the parts!

Yo welcome back!! Y2D's hit the road, and few forumitees got their hands on them already (yummy), Foggy still doesn't have an axe, but his EBMM photo gallery is spreading  :p

300th post nice :D

I'd bet the guitar would sound even better with some strings. :D

Cool pickguard. I've been debating getting a new pickguard to replace the black one on my Sub1. I wish pickguard heaven had some kind of web-based tool [ala EB's 'Build An Instrument' tool] that let users swap out pickguards/guitar body colors. This would help eliminate a lot of the guesswork.

I've been informed that the EBMM webmasters are going to finish the work on the "Build an instrument" section on MM online. That way you could build SUB1's too :)

Welcome back, Raz!!! Hope you're having a great holiday season!

Thanks everyone and Happy Holidays. I see Evilbay has a number of Y2D's on sale, thank goodness I am broke:o

Hey Raz! Geez, I'm not even here that much and I really missed you. Welcome back buddy!:D

I have a trans blue Axis Sport that I sort of Albert Lee-ized the electronics and will try to post a pic soon.

It started out as a HSS w/ vintage trem and after a few years of owning it I was jonesin' hard for a Telecaster. Didn't have the cash to buy one, so I would've had to sell or trade my Axis. I couldn't bring myself to do it and then realized "Hey, aren't they basically the same woods, and didn't they make a SSS Axis?"
So I contacted EB support and they sold me a thick, single ply flat black SSS pickguard and AL pups. Had to completely disassemble the guitar and do a little routing to get the pups to fit. I also removed all the stock wiring and installed a standard 5 way switch and vintage style Tele tone caps. It turned out awesome and probably no one has anything like it.

Just a couple of EMG'd silos with a Steve Morse style bridge activation switch added. That's all.

Was Raz gone somewhere? Didn't notice. tee he
